For original characters, you must fill out the application and provide a sample post. This isn't an elite RPG, BUT proper grammar, spelling, etc are stressed beyond belief. Try to be literate.
PLEASE BE CREATIVE. We need all kinds of doctors - Derek, Bailey, Richard, Burke & Addison aren't the only resident/attending doctors that would exist at a hospital. And of course, nurses are the backbone.

Application for ORIGINAL characters: Name of character: Meredith Grey Age of character:27 Status: (i.e. intern, local, etc)resitent Gender:Female Brief physical description of character:Dirty Blonde hair, grayish eyes , thin but not skinny Personality of character: (Don't hesitate to go into detail)hesitent, has trust issues, indessive, doesn't know what to do with love, like tequlia and sex. Enjoys surgeries. Wants to trust men but doesn't know how, like the word seriously History of character: (This should be of moderate length)Daughter of Dr. Ellis Grey. Meredith grewup in Seattle until around the age of five when her and her mother moved to Boston. Her mother divorced her father Thatcher Grey and started an affair with Meredith's now cheif of surgery Richard Webber. Her father abonined her and her mother lived her life at the hospitals she worked at. Meredith quickly learned how to get by by herself. She went to college at Dathmouth and traveled Europe untill she learned her mother had developed altimzer's. She came back to care for her and started her internship at Seattle Grace Hospital. The night of the intern mixer she meta guy at the bar across the street known as Joe's. The next day she kicked him out of her house only to learn that he was Dr. Derek Shepherd world renouned neurosurgeon and her boss. Her fellow interns Izzie and George moved into her house with her. Dr. Shepherd kept asking her out until she caved. The realtionship was going well despite her resident Bailey finding out. that was until Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd showed up saying she was Derek's wife. Derek eventually choose Addison and Meredith kept her roommates and other intern freinds: Alex and Cristina close. Meredith brought a dog Doc but when her roommates didn't want him she gave him to Derek and they shared the dog. Doc eventically got bone cancer and Meredith decided to date the vet. Derek became jeolus and eventily him and Meredith ended up sleeping together. Addison found out and Derek filed for divorce knowing all along he always loved Meredith. Meredith eventially choose Derek. They fell back into their peaceful life until Meredith drowned and Ellis died. Derek became afraid she would give up again and Meredith was avoiding her mother's death. Thatcher and Susan ,Meredith's stepmom, found out and wanted to have dinner with her Meredith agreed only because Derek would be there. Susan came in to SGH with a case of the hiccups and died of Sepis Thatcher blamed Meredith and disowned her. Meredith started to withdraw from Derek again. Not knowing what to do Derek flirted with a girl at Joe's as Meredith reliazed she missed him. Meredith found out from Derek and became confused. Derek gave her an ulltimatime before Burke and Christina 's wedding commitment or nothing. Meredith beliving if her person could get married so could she needed to wait until after the wedding to answer Derek. Burke broke off the wedding and Meredith broke off the realtionship with Derek, at least until she is ready. But is willing to have lots of break-up sex with him until then. Name of character: Christina Marie Way Age of character:27 years old Status: (i.e. intern, local, etc) Christina is a 1st year resident from mercy West, who has recently transferred to Seattle Grace, since it is known to be a teaching hospital. Gender: Female Brief physical description of character: Bright platinum blonde hair (but not ugly-fake looking) smooth, cream colored skin, crisp blue eyes, red lips that are on the pouty side. She is short, around 5'2". Personality of character: (Don't hesitate to go into detail) Christina is on the quiet side around people she is first meeting. She tends to get embarrassed and blushes often. When she is comfortable around friends or co-workers, she speaks her mind. She tries to be honest, because she hates to be babied. She loves peep-toe pumps, red lipstick, and a good makeup routine. She loves men. Especially the kind women should stay away from. The "bad boys." Luckily, her beauty attracts them. She wants to live a fairy tale, and is positive she will claim one of these untamable men for her own. She has an extreme vulnerable side. She just wants to be loved, with passion. She has a slight social anxiety, and that vulnerability usually attracts the lustful men, which she hopes for greatly. She wants to be a great surgeon, but even more, she wants her love to be important to someone. She has never imagined herself with anyone else, but another doctor. History of character: (This should be of moderate length) Christina was born in the heart of New York City. She lived there until she was about three years old, when her family moved to Pennsylvania. She moved and travelled quite frequently until she was old enough to go to college. She father was in the Army, and was sort of a drinker. She and her mother were frequent victims of domestic abuse, which drove Christina into books. She developed intense and ritualistic habits of memorizing facts and concepts from medical journals from a young age, because it required her to focus on something more acceptable than her home life. For this reason, she is attracted to the men most women try to stay away from. She wants too heal the world, physically and emotionally. She is not afraid of the "big shots" and loves a challenge. She demands respect, not vocally but with her keen knowledge of medicine. . Although she is extremely quiet around other students, interns, and nurses, she always seemed to catch the eye of the men in charge. She is extremely intelligent, and beautiful. She loves coffee, comfy beds, a good beer once in a while, and strong hugs. Her last boyfriend was her best friend growing up, Gerard. He was her first and only love-encounter. Although she does keep in contact with him, she does not see them ever revisiting the love connection. It is very obvious that they were meant to be close friends. From the first day at Seattle grace, she has had a quiet eye for Mark Sloan. It is just her nature. She attended Columbia University in New York and completed Columbia's four year graduate program.

Personality of character: (Don't hesitate to go into detail) Isabella-Rose or “Bella” as she likes to be called is a free spirit.She is often reckless and over excited especially when it comes to surgeries. Even though she has excellent surgical skills she IS NOT a people person, often failing to connect with patients. When it comes to men Bella is absolutely hopeless she always ends up with the wrong type of men: the over protective needy ones who want time-consuming relationships when all she is looking for is a couple of nights of meaningless but absolutely satisfying sex. This leads her to be quite promiscuous especially when she doesn’t have to back to back surgeries through the night. According to her there are two great highs in life sex and surgery. She loves to party especially if it involves a bottle of vodka and a whole lot of men .Even though she is wild, she is intelligent and passionate about her job and always puts it first which often leads her alienate her loved ones. At times she is socially awkward around mushy gushy relationshippy couples she can’t believe people would waste time with anything as stupid as love. Although she might be disturbed by the whole idea of love, she is a loyal friend the kind that will bail you out of jail in the middle of the night if you asked her to. Much too often though she is over competitive and often lets her ambition blind her. She has a sarcastic demeanour but underneath she’s fragile and lost and she came to Seattle to find herself.
History of character: (This should be of moderate length) Bella was born in Dublin, Ireland; but she grew up in an airplane LITERALLY. When she was two her mom; who was an Irish poet and spent half the time drunk anyways; left and her Dad Major Rahul Sharma of the Indian Army took her away on his military adventures around the world. Because of this Bella’s never really had a real home , once she got used to a place her dad would pick up and make them move again. For Bella everyday was a new identity, a new adventure. Each new place she moved whether it be Zimbabwe or Paris she’d create a new persona. She was the Goth girl, the misunderstood musician and the popular girl. She was whoever she wanted to be but she never really had any friends. For most of the time it was her and her Dad, they were extremely close until he remarried the most awful vile thing to walk on this planet, Janet when she was nine. Janet treated Bella like the gum caught underneath her perfect Jimmy Choos. She told Bella that she was ugly and fat and stupid. But Bella wasn’t one of those girls that would sit there and take it she put the witch in her place plenty of times. Her Dad though never saw her reasoning and always took Janet’s side, which led to Bella and Major Sharma getting more and more estranged over time. Now they share a strained relationship, they exchange one phone call every year on her birthday and she sends him a small present on his birthday.
When she was 16 she graduated from Secondary School in Germany with top honours in almost all subjects except physics (she hates physics) and once she realized that she had finally escaped from Janet’s evil clutches (the goal she had been working towards pretty much her entire life) she had no idea what to do now that she was free, so she decided to take a year off and join the peace corps. While on the Peace Corps Mission to Darfur she met the first and only love of her life: Bryan Lodovaciati. He was twenty one with bright blue eyes and golden hair. But the most attractive thing about him was his voice, he could stop time with his voice it was smooth and velvety. She was young and naive and she fell for him. HARD. An on a summer’s night in the deserts of Sudan they made love underneath the stars. It was the first time she’d ever given up to a person let someone gain control of her. It seemed Bryan had other ideas on his mind though; at the end of the mission in Darfur he told her he was engaged to be married and that he could never see her again. She had thought that they would be together forever. What a load of bull! And from that day onwards she had stopped in believing in love and started believing in lust. After the Peace Corps, she realized that she wanted to make a change in this world something that would change someone’s life and applied to many colleges hoping that she would figure stuff out while she was doing her undergrad. She got in everywhere she applied to, but in the end she chose Harvard, where she decided to drown herself in her studies. Bella had always been intelligent it came naturally to her (it was one of the very few things that did) and she gained an interest in physiology and biochemistry, and ended up doing a double degree in three years. After she graduated again she was at another crossroads and then she saw a flier at Harvard advertising some MCAT prep classes and on a whim she decided to take the MCATs. After receiving a near perfect score on the MCAT, Bella took it as a sign from God that she should be a doctor. Now she’s fresh out of John Hopkins finishing in the top 3% of her class and three months into her internship at Seattle Grace. Where she’s gained the rep of the “firecracker intern”.
